One day the Mighty Hunter Pinkus was roaming through the fields of Calypso. She had just gotten back from the rig and had chosen a route to get to her to the nearest local teleporter. Being stuck at an outpost, she decided to roam west towards Twin Peaks. Up and down the brown fields she traveled. She walked and walked until she saw something that was quite peculiar. It was something that was floating in the air. “Ah! A space ship!” Pinkus thought to herself. “Well, it looks like no one is around. This is a perfect time to play around with the items in my inventory.” So Pinkus sat down and started to look at all the pretty items she carried with her on this journey. Before she knew it, there were evil robotic type creatures that were getting closer and closer to her. Her keen senses finally perked up and she noticed that she was not alone. She was all too quickly being surrounded by Warrior Generation 3’s and their evil drone minions. Her first thought was to run full speed into this wall of metal mobs. Then, she decided to use her logic instead. She was one, and they were many. Her thoughts advanced as she deducted that her gear was not the right caliber to take on this degree of evil. After weighing her options, she decided to avoid them and come back later with reinforcements and better gear. So Pinkus pushed on, dodging past the vision of the evil around her. “Where the hell is Twin?” Pinkus yelled in frustration. Running seemed to take forever and it was a very dull trip. Her feet were hurting and there wasn’t an animal in sight. Then, suddenly, something in the distance appeared. Looking through her scope on her gun, she saw a little orange creature. Then she noticed another, and another and another. “These little b****es are everywhere!” she exclaimed. “Looks like I’m going to do some killin’ after all.” One after another, the little orange tantillions fell. She was surprised at the size of the herd that amassed. These creatures seemed to be popping up out of nowhere. It seemed for everyone she killed, another two took it’s place. “Damn, you tants are good,” she said as she stared down at a dead heap of carcasses while she attended to her wounds. She hurried, knowing that the growing herd would soon proceed with the second wave of their lethal assault within seconds. Just as she was about to continue her killing spree, a shiny object caught her eye. Bending down to examine the glittering object, she found to her amazement, a little pile of pec laying under the slimy lifeless tantillion. Greedily she picked up the pec and for a moment forgot about the growing herd. “Ha! Who would have thought, you carry money on you,” she said. She turned around to see if the other tantillions had pec underneath them as well, but there was nothing. “Ouch!” Pinkus screamed as she felt a sharp pain from her ankle. She looked down to see two tantillions fiercely attacking her precious feet and legs. “Enough of this you irritating little rabbits!” she screamed while unleashing her river of bullets. Continuing the relentless battle she knew she was fighting a lose war. The tantillions multiplied too quickly for her to kill so she knew she had to back down. Finishing off the tantillions that currently attacked her, she decided that if she was to make it to Twin, she would have to run around the herd. This took some amount of time, as the herd never seemed to end. To ease her frustrations, she picked off a few stragglers in retribution for her ankle, and for pure amusement sake. While almost nearing the end of the herd, she saw something unusual. She tried to scope out this big rock looking beast, but she couldn’t get a read on it’s name. He was somewhat secluded from the tantillions so she decided to take him. Round after round of ammo being pumped into this creature’s belly didn’t even seem to faze him. Pinkus became worried that she would not have enough to finish him off. She had to go on though. If some of the easy tantillions around him carried pecs, just imagine what this beast might hold. Finally, the creature fell and Pinkus ran up to it’s dead body. She knelt down saw that nothing laid underneath it’s belly. She quickly grew disappointed. “All that work for nothing,” she said. “Funny, there’s only one of you and 3 million of these tantillions around you. Wonder why all these creatures would want to hang around you. You act so big but when it comes down to it, you really aren’t anything special are you?” She stood up and dusted off her knee. “Enough,” she said. Before long she found herself in Twin Peaks. The rest of the journey was cake as the only creature that got in her way, or should I say got out of her way, was a dakiba young. Some days the battles are long, and the creatures are relentless, but in the end the mighty hunter will prosper, and will wake up the next day to hunt again.
